Electrão and the Lisbon City Council joined forces and launched a project for the free collection of used large electric equipment at the homes of citizens in three Lisbon parishes. The project kicked off in July 2021 with the motto “Whether in the kitchen or in the garage, we’ll take it for recycling”.

In a few months the project grew and, by the end of the year, it had already covered thirteen parishes in Lisbon: Ajuda, Alcântara, Alvalade, Areeiro, Arroios, Avenidas Novas, Beato, Belém, Campolide, Marvila, Olivais, Parque das Nações and Santo António.
